Ryan Willerton, M.S.Ed.
Associate Vice President for Career and Professional Development
Biography
Ryan Willerton was appointed Associate Vice President for Career and Professional Development in the Division of Student Affairs in August 2017, and oversees the Meruelo Family Center for Career Development and initiatives related to career discernment.
Willerton’s service to the Notre Dame community has spanned 25 years in various student life capacities. Prior to his role as the Associate Vice President for Career and Professional Development, Willerton served as the Director of Community Standards from 2012 to 2017 where he oversaw the University’s student conduct process. Willerton also served as Director of Student Activities Facilities from 2003 to 2012, Assistant Director of Residence Life and Housing from 2001 to 2003, and Student Development Coordinator in the Student Activities Office from 1998-2001.
Willerton earned a master’s degree in education from Eastern Illinois University and a bachelor’s degree in Spanish/secondary education from Bradley University.
