Kate Morgan, M.A.

Biography

Kate Morgan has served as the Director of Communications in the Division of Student Affairs since January 2017. In this role, she manages all communications outreach on behalf of the Vice President for Student Affairs and works collaboratively with Division leadership to build awareness for the Division and its programs, promoting the Division’s many contributions, resources, and services to students and other internal audiences.

Previously, Morgan served as the inaugural Associate Director of Communications in Campus Ministry. There, she developed and implemented new departmental branding and messaging, redesigned the website, created an active presence on social media, streamlined promotions, and instituted additional strategies to ensure Campus Ministry remained relevant and accessible to Notre Dame students.

Prior to Notre Dame, Morgan worked as a Senior Account Manager at Indiana’s largest full-service advertising and public relations agency where she managed a variety of clients, including Elkhart General Hospital, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, Cirque du Soleil, Wabash Valley Power, and the U.S. Department of Labor Women’s Bureau.

A native of Michigan City, Indiana, Morgan earned both her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in journalism from Ball State University and paralegal certification from Capital University Law School.
