- Receive a referral to an off-campus resource
University Health Services
Welcome to your one-stop shop for all things healthcare at Notre Dame.
Students are our specialty, and our team of physicians and nurses partner with students to help them stay healthy. We provide world-class primary care services, including evaluation and treatment of illnesses and injuries, preventive care, and management of chronic conditions.
From picking up a prescription at our on-site pharmacy to receiving physical therapy, you can find the answer to most of your healthcare questions at University Health Services (UHS). We also offer a wide range of health education initiatives that could literally save your life—or prepare you to save someone else’s. We offer classes in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED throughout the entire year. Students also have the opportunity to join the First Aid Services Team (FAST) to serve as first responders at varsity athletic and speciality events on campus.
There are hundreds of ways to be physically well at Notre Dame.
- Compete alongside your friends in one of our 27 intramural sports (ranging from tug of war and basketball to ice hockey and bowling)
- Join a yoga, Zumba, or cardio kickboxing class
- Participate in one of our dozens of club sport programs
No matter how you choose to take advantage of RecSports at Notre Dame, you’ll have the opportunity to challenge your body, continue to play the sport you love at a high level, and achieve balance in your daily life.
Do you have a friend you're concerned about?
The Care Consultants at Notre Dame can help.
Each year, we handle referrals from faculty, staff, students, and parents about their loved ones who may be struggling with or distressed by academic, emotional, and social issues. We can help you to help your friends connect with the resources and services they need to get through this difficult period in their lives. There is no problem or concern too small.
