University Bands

University Bands provides the opportunity for student musicians to participate in three concert bands, three jazz bands, section ensembles, varsity bands, and most notably the Band of the Fighting Irish, the University’s marching band. Typically, more than 500 students participate in one or more of the Band’s offerings each year.

Over the course of the academic year, the band hosts multiple concerts, provides music for University liturgies and Masses, and performs at numerous athletic events.
