SURVEILLANCE TESTING REMINDER
Surveillance testing involves testing people from across campus to identify asymptomatic and pre-symptomatic individuals and help avert potential outbreaks. Spring Semester surveillance testing will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 3, at the University Testing Center, Gate 2 of the Joyce Center.

Weekly surveillance testing is mandatory for undergraduate and professional students (Law, Graduate Business, Graduate Architecture, and ESTEEM). Please schedule your testing day here

Post-docs, PhD, and graduate students who will be on campus for two or more days each week during the Spring Semester are strongly encouraged to participate in surveillance testing once every two weeks. Please schedule your testing here

VACCINE UPDATE
Many have asked how vaccination factors into the University’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. For more information on the vaccination efforts in the states of Indiana and Michigan, including the categories of who is currently eligible to receive the vaccine, please click here

COVID-19 INCIDENT REPORTING
Any member of the campus community can share concerns about individuals engaged in unsafe practices by using this form. The relevant University office will follow up on these reports promptly.

CRU HOTLINE
Students who have questions or concerns related to testing, the daily health check, contact tracing, quarantine and isolation, or any other University resources or protocols can call the 24/7 CRU hotline at 574-634-HERE or email covidresponseunit@nd.edu

Center for Career Development

The Meruelo Family Center for Career Development Spring Semester Career Fair Week will be held virtually Monday, Feb. 15 through Wednesday, Feb. 17.

The week is a great opportunity to explore a wide variety of opportunities and industries and connect with employers. The virtual career fair will be conducted on Notre Dame’s online career platform, Handshake

SPRING INTO ENGINEERING NETWORKING EVENT

This new networking event, in partnership with the Engineering Leadership Council, welcomes all employers actively hiring engineering students from the Aerospace, Biomolecular, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Earth Sciences, Electrical, Environmental, and Mechanical disciplines. 

ITAO: BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY AND ANALYTICS NETWORKING EVENT

Notre Dame students of all class years and academic majors are welcome to meet with employers of all sizes across all industries promoting full-time employment, internship, and other career opportunities.

GRADUATE STUDENT AND EMPLOYER NETWORKING EVENT
Tuesday, Feb. 16, 11 a.m. -1:30 p.m., Virtual
This networking event provides an opportunity for graduate students, post-docs, and alumni to connect with employers from a variety of industries. Have the opportunity to attend group sessions, as well as schedule one-on-one meetings with employers.

This networking event allows students to connect and build relationships with organizations that embrace and promote all aspects of diversity, including gender, race/ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, and socio-economic status.

NOW ACCEPTING ANCHOR INTERNSHIP APPLICATIONS
Open to rising Seniors and Juniors looking to serve our campus in faith leadership, the Anchor Internship program is accepting submissions here for the 2021-2022 academic year. The deadline for applications is Sunday, Feb. 7. Please email Mike Urbaniak with any questions.

LGBTQ RETREAT
Campus Ministry and the Gender Relations Center offer an LGBTQ retreat each spring semester. This year's retreat will be held Saturday, Feb. 13 from 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the Coleman-Morse first-floor lounge and will focus on the theme, "Going from embarrassment and shame to acceptance and gratitude." POINTS OF CONNECTION PODCAST
Campus Ministry's podcast, Points of Connection, is back for a second season! Join Christian Santa Maria, Assistant Director of Spirituality, and JJ Wright, Director of the Notre Dame Folk Choir, along with special guests as they discover how the spiritual life calls us to hold what does not seem to belong in loving tension. Click here to listen to episode one.

Stay tuned for episode two which launches this Friday, Jan. 29, featuring guests Brett Perkins and Emorja Roberson. In this episode, we look at the dynamics of tradition and consider what and how it contributes to the way we forge a new way forward. We also speak with Emorja Roberson about his work in helping create space for Black students at the University of Notre Dame. 

BECOMING CATHOLIC/GETTING CONFIRMED
If you are interested in learning more about becoming Catholic or getting confirmed at Notre Dame, join us for an information session on Thursday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. or Sunday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m.  Both sessions will be offered in 330 Coleman-Morse. For more information, please email Brett Perkins.

FIGHTING IRISH SCHOLARS INFORMATIONAL SESSIONS

Current Fighting Irish Scholars and Office of Student Enrichment staff will be present at these in-person sessions to answer questions and provide you with information on the scholarship program. Topics will include mandatory programming, leadership opportunities, available resources, and qualifications for the scholarship.
