Health and Wellness Resources

CENTER FOR STUDENT SUPPORT AND CARE
The Center for Student Support and Care is committed to offering ongoing support and resources to all students. If you or someone you know would like to talk, please sign up for a time to meet with one of our Care and Wellness Consultants. There are times available throughout the day to meet either in person or virtually with a member of our team. We can also be reached at 574-631-7833 or via email at care@nd.edu

UNIVERSITY COUNSELING CENTER (UCC)
The UCC provides a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space where students can feel free to explore a wide variety of concerns and issues. All UCC services are accessed through Drop-In Hours. No appointment needed; simply call (574) 631-7336 to get started. 

FIGHTING IRISH CARE 24/7 TELEHEALTH SERVICES
All Notre Dame students have free and immediate 24/7 telehealth access to medical and mental health support through Fighting Irish Care. Whether you’re feeling sick or overwhelmed, you will be able to talk to a licensed provider from your smartphone or any web-enabled device. Licensed providers are available to diagnose non-emergent medical conditions, prescribe medications, and offer mental health support and wellness coaching via phone or secure video visits. Visit go.nd.edu/FightingIrishCare to create your profile to speak with a doctor or mental health provider.

Join SAO for video game night on Library Lawn. Show off your skills in Mario Kart and enjoy some tasty food from the Food Trucks afterward.

IRISH FEST
Saturday, May 1, Library Lawn, 11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Bring your friends and cheer on the Irish during a day of athletic events, food, and fun across campus! Free food, live music, photo ops, swag giveaways, and activities will be held on Library Lawn all day. Chick-fil-A starting at 11:30 a.m., and brats and pretzels starting at 2:30 p.m. All events are free; bring your student ID to get into athletic events. Athletic event capacity is limited on a first-come, first-served basis.

FOOTBALL COMBINE EVENT
Friday, April 30, 6 - 9 p.m., Ricci Family Fields
Come test your skills in our Football Combine event. Prizes will be awarded to top individuals based on their scores. Combine events include: 40-yard Dash, Vertical Jump, Broad Jump, Three-Cone Drill, and 20-Yard Dash. Pre-registration for your time slot is required. Click here for more information.

HOME UNDER THE DOME
Thursday, April 29, 5 - 7 p.m., Clark Fountain outside LaFortune Student Center
Join the Office of Student Enrichment and McWell GROW peer educators for Home Under the Dome. Grab a succulent, paint a pot, and decorate a picture frame to make your home at Notre Dame more restorative for finals. You can also print or pick up a picture for your frame to take home this summer. Add feelings of missing home (or not) to our Wall of Solidarity. Follow @enrichnd and @mcwellnd for updates. WELLNESS WEDNESDAY
Have you ever wondered what your brain actually does during sleep? Are you curious about how to enhance your sleep, both as a student and for life beyond Notre Dame? Stop by Library Lawn this Wednesday anytime between 6 and 8 p.m., to learn some tips, answer trivia questions, register for Dreaming Domers, and grab a cookie.

FUN FRIDAY
If you have no time for a nap and feel like you can't find any time to relax, look for the McWell Mobile this Friday. Our Fun Friday kits will include tips, techniques, and materials to help you learn how to take a micro break.

Campus Ministry

CHOIRPALOOZA
Thursday, April 29, 7 - 8:30 p.m., Irish Green
This Thursday, join Campus Ministry for Choirpalooza, a night of food and music hosted by the one and only Fr. Pete McCormick. 

Bring a blanket and enjoy free food from your favorite food trucks and performances featuring the following Campus Ministry choirs: Basilica ScholaCoro PrimaveraFolk ChoirHandbell ChoirLiturgical ChoirMagnificat Choir, and Voices of Faith.

Food trucks will open at 6:15 p.m., so stop by early - you won't want to miss a beat!

MASS OF FULL COMMUNION AND CONFIRMATION
On Monday, May 3, in the Basilica, 27 individuals who have been formed through the spring semester Short Course and the yearlong RCIA Process will be received into Full Communion with the Catholic Church or will complete their initiation into the Church, with Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend presiding. Please join us in praying for and welcoming them all into our Catholic Christian community.

MARIAN ORGAN VESPERS
Tuesday, May 4, 7 p.m., Basilica of the Sacred Heart
Come celebrate May, the month of Our Lady, with a sung Marian Vespers service in the Basilica. The Magnificat Choir (formerly the Women’s Liturgical Choir) will chant this traditional Latin evening prayer. The choir will be joined by organist Benton Schmidt, who will play liturgical music by Marcel Dupré and Matthias Weckmann written specifically for this liturgy.
