111 Walsh Hall
Liz joins the Notre Dame family with several years of experience in higher education and college ministry. She graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and then moved to Chicago as a professional Residence Hall Chaplain at Saint Xavier University. While in Chicago, she co-taught an undergraduate class on service-learning; supervised resident peer ministers; mentored RAs; and collaborated with Residence Hall staff to create a retreat program for students. After completing a graduate certificate in Pastoral Studies in Chicago, Liz moved back to St. Louis to serve as a Campus Minister at the Catholic Newman Center at the University of Missouri – St. Louis, where she organized all social, spiritual and service programming for three years. After much discernment, Liz left St. Louis to pursue a Masters of Divinity degree at the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry; concurrently, she served in hospital chaplaincy in the emergency room and trauma floor and at the Blue Ridge Family Retreat Program which served families from inner city parishes on the East Coast. When not spending time with students, she’s probably trying to show you pictures of her adorable nephew.
