There’s a place for those who want to change the world.

For over 30 years, the Center for Social Concerns, a key campus partner of the Division of Student Affairs, has connected students and faculty with opportunities to serve locally, regionally, and internationally. Through the Center you might:

  • Participate in a Social Concerns Seminar and spend your spring, winter, or fall break exploring social justice issues in a wide range of real-world contexts (recent sites have included Appalachia, Phoenix, and Chicago)
  • Attend a lecture by an internationally renowned expert
  • Connect with one of more than 50 local service organizations
  • Conduct research on behalf of a local organization to help them address a critical need
