Prior to returning to Notre Dame in 2014, Kathy, served as Director of the Office of Residential Life at Siena College from 2010-2014.  She was responsible for the daily operations of a department that serves approximately 2,500 residential students as well as providing the vision, leadership, assessment and strategic planning necessary to achieve the department’s mission.  Kathy previously worked as an Assistant Director in the Office of Institutional Equity from 2008-2010 and as Assistant Director in the Office of Residence Life and Housing from 2005-2008.  Additionally, Kathy served another six years in Residential Life at Notre Dame as Rector of Howard Hall and Assistant Rector of McGlinn Hall.Beginning in 2014, Kathy oversees 12 residence halls working closely with the Rectors and hall staff. She also has primary responsibility for Rector training and development including initiatives for new Rectors as well as on-going training, workshops and in-services for all Rectors.  She works closely with the Residential Life Leadership Team in providing leadership and direction for the residential mission of the University’s undergraduate residence halls.

During her tenure in Student Affairs, Kathy has been a member of several committees, including: Campus Life Council; Rector Planning/Advisory Committee; Rector Evaluations; Committee for Sexual Assault Prevention (CSAP); Residential Facility Master Plan Committee; ND Voice; Student Affairs Advisory Committee; and Siena College’s Early Warning and Retention Team for at-risk students.

Kathy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Sociology from Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
