Dedicated in honor of Joseph O’Neill, Jr. ’37, and funded by the O’Neill family, O’Neill Hall was the first men’s residence hall built on West Quad. In 2004, O'Neill became the first hall on the West Quad to win "Male Hall of the Year." The "Angry Mob" continue this strong tradition with hosting campus wide events such as, the "Ms. ND Pageant," and "Recess" on the last day of classes in the Spring semester.
Rev. Chris Rehagen, C.S.C.
Originally from Jefferson City, MO, Rev. Christopher Rehagen, C.S.C., was ordained as a Holy Cross priest in 2015. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2009 with a degree in Finance and Economics (and a minor in Theology!) and entered formation in the Congregation of Holy Cross the following year. While in formation, he earned a Master of Divinity degree from Notre Dame in 2014 and served in a variety of ministries, including hospital chaplaincy, campus ministry, parish work, and direct service to the poor. Most recently, he spent the last two years as a Deacon and then Parochial Vicar at Christ the King Parish in South Bend, IN.
In his free time, Fr. Chris enjoys playing sports and board games, reading, spending time with family and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. Although this may not make him popular with the large number of Chicago Cubs fans at Notre Dame, he is hoping for another World Series win this year.
