Ryan Willerton, M.S.Ed
Associate Vice President for Career and Professional Development
Ryan Willerton was appointed Associate Vice President in August 2017. Mr. Willerton oversees the Meruelo Family Center for Career Development and initiatives related to career discernment.
Mr. Willerton’s service to the Notre Dame community has spanned 25 years in various student life capacities. He served most recently in the role of Director of Community Standards from 2012 to 2017 where he oversaw the University’s student conduct process. Mr. Willerton also served as Director of Student Activities Facilities from 2003 to 2012, Assistant Director of Residence Life and Housing from 2001 to 2003, and Student Development Coordinator in the Student Activities Office from 1998-2001.
Mr. Willerton earned a master’s degree in Education from Eastern Illinois University and a bachelor’s degree in Spanish/Secondary Education from Bradley University. He resides in South Bend with his wife and their two sons.
