Lissa Bill, B.A.
Senior Counselor to the Vice President for Student Affairs
Lissa Bill was appointed Senior Counselor to the Vice President for Student Affairs in October 2014.
Prior to this role, Ms. Bill was the Career Operations Manager in The Career Center, overseeing the areas of marketing, events, and the front office of the Center, as well as their student intern program. In addition to managing the operations for the office, she was a career coach on the Career Center’s Exploration Team, helping students as they explored career opportunities in the consulting, retail, and technology industries. She developed programming to help Arts and Letters students explore business and team-taught a one-credit course on career planning in the Mendoza College of Business.
Prior to coming to Notre Dame in July of 2008, Ms. Bill spent the majority of her career in retail as a buyer at companies such as Sears Holdings, Bachrach, and Abercrombie & Fitch. She traveled to China, Korea, Turkey, Italy, and England while working with vendors and suppliers to deliver seasonal assortments that were sold in stores nationwide. Ms. Bill was born and raised in South Bend and graduated in 1997 from the University of Michigan with a degree in English and Psychology.
