Kate Morgan, M.A.

Kate Morgan has served as the Communications Program Director in the Office of Student Affairs since January 2017. In this role, she works collaboratively with Division leadership to enhance the reputation of and build awareness for the Division and its programs, promoting its contributions, resources, and services to internal and external audiences. She also manages a Division communications group, providing consultation and fostering continued collaborative relationships across the 18 departments that make up the Division of Student Affairs.

Previously, Ms. Morgan served as the inaugural Associate Director of Communications in the Office of Campus Ministry. There, she developed and implemented new departmental branding and messaging, redesigned the website, created an active presence on social media, streamlined promotions, and instituted additional strategies to ensure Campus Ministry remained relevant and accessible to students. Additionally, at Notre Dame, Ms. Morgan has served as a member of the greeNDot Committee, the Committee on Sexual Assault Prevention, and the Community Engagement Coordinating Council

Prior to Notre Dame, Ms. Morgan worked as a Senior Account Manager at Indiana’s largest full-service advertising and public relations agency. In her time with the agency, she worked with a variety of clients, including Elkhart General Hospital, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, Cirque du Soleil, Wabash Valley Power, and the U.S. Department of Labor Women’s Bureau. A native of Michigan City, Indiana, Ms. Morgan earned both her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in journalism from Ball State University and paralegal certification from Capital University Law School.
